Recycling

Harmony Township offers the opportunities below to reduce, reuse, and recycle in the community; however, at this time, there are no opportunities to recycle curbside unless advertised in the Newsletter.

The Yard Waste Box

“Paid in part by the DEP 902 Recycling Grant”

The use of this dumpster has been suspended and is not available to residents or others. This dumpster is used exclusively by the Township for the placement of chippings and other yard waste materials picked up during the regular course of the Monthly Yard Waste Program.

The Township will provide for a Monthly Yard Waste Pick Up on the first week of each month beginning the first week of April, depending on weather conditions. Residents are urged to place yard waste in paper bags at curbside. If you have tree limbs they should be bundled. The length should be no greater than 4′ and 6″ in diameter. Do not place mulch or dirt in yard waste bags as they will damage the chipping equipment.
